DIN 11864-2 is the standard for aseptic or hygienic flange connections for very high hygienic demanding process industries. You can find these connections in the pharmaceutical and cosmetical industries, the chemical industries, biotechnology and also in the food and beverage industries. DIN 11864 flanges are always made of AISI 316L stainless steel.

For a connection are 5 different parts needed:

1. Flange with groove

2. Flange with notch

3. O-Shaped seal ring

4. Hexagon bolts ( 4 or 8, depending on the diameter)

5. Hexagon nuts (4 or 8)
