What is the ASME-BPE standard?

The name ASME-BPE stands for American Society of Mechanical Engineers - Bio Processing Equipment.
The ASME-BPE standard determines the specific requirements for the tubing components such as: design, materials, construction, surface finish and inspection.​But the suppliers themselves are also subject to high requirements in order to be eligible for ASME-BPE certification.

As a result, ASME-BPE tubing parts are always of the same, very high, quality​, as are the companies where you purchase the parts.
